Order mistakes are one of the quietest drains on a restaurant: every wrong plate is a remake, a refund, or a guest who does not return. Most of them are preventable.
Let orders flow straight to the kitchen
When online orders arrive with every modifier attached and print directly to the line, there is nothing to re-key and little to misread. Removing manual steps removes the most common source of error.
Keep the menu honest
Marking items unavailable the moment they sell out prevents orders the kitchen cannot fill. Clear modifiers and portion notes stop guessing before it starts.
Confirm what matters
A clear order summary at checkout gives guests a chance to catch their own mistakes, and gives the kitchen a clean, unambiguous ticket to work from.
